For the growth of our online shop and e-commerce business, we want to follow best practices with regard to business content writing in terms of product descriptions (product marketing), customer support documentation, email marketing, content marketing (e.g. blog), affiliate marketing material, general marketing material, sales and other business content.
Our online and e-commerce business is a consumer focused business, while it may also serve other businesses to fulfill their procurement requirements. It is a subsidiary business in line with our goal to facilitate international trade.
What is this job about?
As a business and content marketing writer, you conceptualize, plan, organize and schedule, implement, optimize and communicate various content marketing schemes and strategies to support and promote our online business.
Managing requirements and relationships with our corporate clients, consumers and business partners to improve the effectiveness of business content is an essential part of your job. Pitching to, building collaborations and stakeholder management of third parties such as reporters, journalists, editors, guest bloggers and authors provide consistent potential to develop your network and skill set.
As part of our team, you support our public relations (PR) initiatives, research and analyze relevant media trends, update content, contribute inspiring, original and well-written articles to our trade blog.
User satisfaction, user acquisition and user loyalty is the main purpose of your responsibilities.
Ideally, you would meet the following requirements in addition to the skills mentioned below. You
+ must be at least very fluent in English and/or German, while being very fluent in both is a big advantage
+ should have at least 2-3 years of relevant hands-on work experience (e.g. editor, journalist, sales, marketing, blogger, author)
+ should have basic to advanced knowledge about e-commerce, global trade and business
+ hold either at least an undergraduate degree in journalism, public relations, communication science, media, marketing (or equivalent) or have at least 3-5 years of relevant hands-on work experience with proven publications
+ are a naturally talented writer and you are able to explain complex issues in a simple way.
